Residential Treatment Facility
Free 90 Day Stay and Counseling
Emergency and Temporary shelter is provided to youths (primarily age 11 - 20 years) who have been pushed out of their homes, sexually abused or otherwise maltreated, or who simply need a place to stay or time to "cool off" for a few days until family counseling can be arranged. Six beds are provided in the 3-bedroom, 2-bath, full-service home which is located in Laguna near the southern end of Sacramento County. Supervision is provided by a trained cadre of adult staff who provide 24-hour supervision. All youth receive a comprehensive mental health assessment; individual and/or family counseling; assistance with schooling, assistance with finding permanent housing, medical, and legal issues; skill-building workshops; job search assistance and recreation opportunities.
